Keep it or give it back?

So, what to do? I'm not gonna hide the fact that these tiny skulls hidden among flowers are really strong argument for keeping this dress... Although I hate flower prints, I love skulls. This dress seems to be a good compromise.

Mad Vicious

This Saturday my friend (my clone actually... please don't ask) had a birthday party. The theme of the party was "dead musicians". It wasn't easy, but I'd decided I was going to be Sid Vicious. Or I was supposed to be Sid but I was something between him and Rozz Williams from Christian Death. Well, they're both dead anyway. The coolest thing about my outfit was the process of making it. Have you ever ripped your clothes to Sex Pistols "Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols"? No? Try it, it's pure inspiration. But you have to be careful, you might end up with all your clothes torn into pieces.

Gareth Pugh for M.A.C by Ruth Hogben

Fashion designer Gareth Pugh, created a makeup line with his long-time runway collaborator, MAC. “With a collection that goes from strong, deep and mysterious to light, fragile, and ethereal, I think we’ve created a truly versatile collection that hopefully you’ll be inspired by and want to wear.” Gareth Pugh said in a release. If you're in North America, you can get the collection starting November 23, and internationally in December. Below you can see video promoting this line. I think you might want to see this. It's 10/10.

Benetton's "UnHate" campaign

Watch it while you still can :) Benetton's newest campain "UnHate" made a big fuss. The brand was already forced by Vatican to remove campaign picture of pope kissing muslim leader. I bet the next banned will be the picture of North Korea kissing South Korea. Or maybe USA kissing China?
The whole idea is truly beautiful althrough...

The Queer Party.

Last Saturday night. The queer party. A few concerts. Two of them painfully bad and one pretty good. And Drag Queen Edyta... she was true dancing queen. People just went crazy. It was fun fun fun!

Haider Ackermann goes dandy. Spring summer 2012 collection.

“We’ve been doing elongated silhouettes reaching the sky for seasons . . . there’s so much high heels and sexiness that now it’s nice to have an army of Lord Byrons coming your way!” - said Haider Ackermann.
Well, not only Lord Byrons but also Charles Baudelaires and David Bowies from the Ziggy Stardust seventies. I like this masculine attitiude a lot. Haider Ackermann mixed all these individualities and created something with the elegance of a nineteenth century drama and nonchalance like the dandy style with a dash of wilderness of the seventies. For women.
But that's not everything. He did it in his own special way. Every detail, colour and textile is carefully matched with another. And all these matches make this collection incredibly rich in every possible way. All brought together: the blinding colors, the brocade fabrics, the chiffons, the silks, the leather and then the asymetric cuts, the neglected shapes, the unpredictible draperies and the transparent layers. If I had to describe this collection in one word it would be "intensive". Very, very intensive.
But it isn't exaggerated. The balance is perfectly kept. As it's always been. It's Haider Ackermann.
